BPDD and LOV Inc. have been supporting tribal and Latinx families in Wisconsin who have a family member with disabilities. When the COVID-19 pandemic came to Wisconsin, we had to halt our in-person activities.

To support these families during this time, we proposed to employ a Family Navigator to provide intensive case management to families experiencing disabilities. The role of the Family Navigator is to support families to surmount the barriers they face to accessing formal and informal services during COVID-19. They connect with families individually and help them address their needs, working to create a safe and supportive environment for the family members with disabilities. Two people have been hired and they are very excited to start supporting families. Welcome Sarah Niesen and Chris Finkler! If you’d like to know more about LOV Inc, click the button below.
