Re-Opening Considerations and Questions and A COVID Policy Overview with The Arc. Register now to attend these important sessions!
Re-Opening Considerations and Questions with Lisa Pugh
Everyone wants to know when and how service providers can return to providing face-to-face services and re-open their doors. There is so much to consider as we move forward: use of PPE, testing, accommodations, group sizes, social distancing, personal cares, funding needs, training, technology, rights, etc. This session will share considerations and questions related to participants, staff/providers, employers, and families/guardians. Join this interactive session to hear these ideas and to provider your feedback and perspective.
A COVID Policy Overview with The Arc with Nicole Jorwic
Come and hear from The Arc’s National Federal Policy staff a COVID policy overview that touches on the work happening in Washington D.C. to secure HCBS funding in Congress. Nicole Jorwic will also share what’s happening in other states and what’s missing for HCBS providers. You’ll learn how service providers and advocates can take action to advocate for what is needed in Wisconsin to support people with disabilities receiving HCBS services and the providers who support them.
Who should attend: Service providers, direct service professionals, funders, people with disabilities, families, and others who support people with disabilities to achieve employment, make connections and contribute to the community. Register by May 17th by clicking the button below!
CRCs and CEUs are provided by Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. People seeking CEUs/CRCs should look for the link to a survey posted in the chat box at the beginning of each session. Click or copy/paste the link to a new browser window to complete the survey. This will verify your attendance in the session.
All registrations for the face-to-face conference were refunded. If you would like to attend the virtual conference, you will need to register again.
Group rates are available for organizations that register 5 or more people. Please contact Molly Cooney at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
