3 things to know:
- Your rights! Know your rights so you can speak up for yourself. https://disabilityvote.org/2021/voting-rights-fact-sheet/
- Make a Plan! How will you vote? Do you have the proper photo ID? Do you know what accommodations you can ask for? Check our fact sheet to help you make a plan https://disabilityvote.org/2024/make-your-plan-to-vote-2024-plain-language/
- If you have a problem at the polls, don’t leave. First, ask to talk to the Chief Election Inspector who is in charge of that polling location. If you are unsatisfied, call the Disability Rights Wisconsin Voter Hotline at 844-347-8683 for assistance. (Hint: program that number into your phone now.). You can also contact the Wisconsin Elections Commission at 1-866-VOTE-WIS.
Your vote is your power; don’t sit this one out!
