Legislators visit their constituents with disabilities at work. Legislators visit long-time employees and students having their first community work experience. They see how people with disabilities contribute to the local economy. They meet employers who say their business is better because they employ a person with a disability.

The Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign shows that hiring people with disabilities is a great idea!

The Take Your Legislator to Work Campaign is about jobs that:

  • pay market wages
  • are in the local community.

These jobs help the statewide economy to grow. They also strengthen our local communities.
