Next Statewide Election in Wisconsin!

The next statewide elections in Wisconsin are the Spring Primary Feb. 20 and the Spring Election April 3. State offices to be elected are Supreme Court Justice, Court of Appeals Judge, Districts I and IV, and Circuit Court Judge. Self-Directed Healthcare Kit in both English and Spanish

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities recently completed our Self-Directed Healthcare Kit in both English and Spanish. The Self-directed Health Care Kit is designed to help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD) advocate for their own health care and support clear communication between the individual and their health care practitioners. The kit includes a set of forms for tracking health care concerns and interventions. Four Organizations Join Building Full Lives Initiative

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities has selected four organizations to join the Building Full Lives initiative in 2018. These organizations are: RCS Empowers, Paragon Community Services, Ventures Unlimited, and Opportunity Center of Crawford County. The Board is providing technical assistance to help organizations shift their business models from segregated to fully integrated services that are individualized, full of choices, and built around the dreams and aspirations of individuals.
