It provides<br \/>\ntraining in leadership, self-advocacy skills, and career awareness to approximately 30<br \/>\nstudents with disabilities from throughout the state of Wisconsin. YLF is a project of<br \/>\nthe Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Wisconsin Youth Leadership Forum is for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who show leadership potential by being active in their school and<br \/>\ncommunity<\/li>\n<li>Students who have a disability (physical, learning, cognitive, emotional,<br \/>\nsensory, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Wisconsin residents<\/li>\n<li>Students who are currently sophomores, juniors or seniors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Attend the Youth Leadership Forum?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2022 To give you a place to meet other students your age who are experiencing<br \/>\nsimilar issues and concerns,<\/li>\n<li>\u2022 To help you increase your leadership skills so you can further your future<br \/>\ngoals and reach them,<\/li>\n<li>\u2022 To assist you in becoming a leader in your school and community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WHERE: Edgewood College, Madison, WI<br \/>\nWHEN: July 9 \u2013 14, 2017<br \/>\nCOST: FREE*<br \/>\n* There is NO CHARGE to attend the YLF.
