NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026 DIEHARD Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to improve community supports for individuals with disabilities?\u00a0 Do they support self-determination?\u00a0 Nominate them for a\u00a0<\/strong>Diehard Award in one of the following two categories:\u00a0<\/p>\n PROFESSIONAL ADVOCATE and SELF-ADVOCATE\/GRASSROOTS ADVOCATE<\/p>\n A\u00a0Diehard<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a person who has made a significant contribution to the advocacy work here in Wisconsin. A diehard is someone with a strong commitment to\u00a0<\/em>community integration and self-determination. Diehards go above and beyond to make sure everyone is counted.<\/em><\/p>\n Awards will be presented at the Self-Determination Conference on Tuesday,\u00a0October 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center\u00a0Wisconsin Dells.\u00a0\u00a0 (during dinner)<\/p>\n
