Click the button below to fill out the online presenter application.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><strong>This year\u2019s theme: <\/strong><strong>Everyone has a story; Your voice matters<\/strong> <strong>will help people with disabilities lead more Self-Determined lives by recognizing the valued role communities play in our lives!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><strong>Things to know when submitting a proposal:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Proposals <strong>must<\/strong> include a self-advocate(s) as a lead or co-presenter.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Panels should be limited to no more than 3 people.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Conference sessions must support Self-Determination and Self-Directed principles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Presentations will be in person <strong>and <\/strong>on video this year. Activity and tools must be available on both platforms. Presentations should focus on practical, take-home strategies that people can implement in their work and lives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Sessions should not promote specific agencies or products.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Repeat or similar sessions from previous conferences will not be considered.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">Sessions will be 1.5 hours in length.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;\">A typical session has an audience of 50-75 attendees.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>There are three ways to complete the proposal form and submit it by noon on May 19, 2022 to: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Complete form online by clicking the button below.<\/p>\n<p>Email to Fil Clissa at <a href=\"mailto:Fil.Clissa@wisconsin.gov\">Fil.Clissa@wisconsin.gov<\/a>; or<\/p>\n<p>Mail to BPDD &#8211; Self-Determination Conference, 101 E.
