link_option_url_new_window=&#8221;on&#8221; border_width_all=&#8221;0px&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Before 2021 children had to test at 20 mcg\/dL or more to receive resources or intervention.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>COLE partners advocated with elected officials to lower the level to 10 mcg\/dL so more families.<\/li>\n<li>affected by lead have access to the resources they need.<\/li>\n<li>Children who test at 9.9 mcg\/dL or lower are referred to COLE where they can get a lead kit and training on how to prevent further exposure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>COLE programs educate parents to advocate for their children and train them to educate other parents.
