The BPDD is always looking for new Board Members who are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Wisconsin. Once appointed by the Governor, Board Members are eligible to serve up to two four-year terms.

The Board meets six times per year, with five of the meetings held in downtown Madison and a Board Retreat that takes place in a different part of the state every year. Board Members are reimbursed for travel expenses and may be eligible to receive a stipend for attending Board Meetings. In addition to attending official Board functions, some Board Members represent the BPDD at other conferences and events not just in Wisconsin, but all over the country.

If you have any questions about becoming a BPDD Board Member, please contact John Shaw. Phone: (608) 266-7707 Email: john1.shaw@wisconsin.gov
