This weekend, May 5-6, is the final and graduation session for this year’s group of Partners In Policymaking.

BPDD’s Wisconsin Partners in Policymaking is a six-session advocacy and systems change training program designed to develop a group of seasoned leaders across the state who are able to work on policies and initiatives that will support the full participation and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of life. Since it began 6 years ago in Wisconsin, more than 150 people have graduated from the program and are active in local, state and federal policy issues.

Congratulations to the 2016-2017 BPDD Partners in Policymaking class! This is the final weekend for this year’s group. What a great bunch of advocates! Best wishes to all in your self-advocacy!
